At the 2024 OC Fair, more than 4,000 children heard about Jesus and hundreds made decisions to follow Him! You are WELCOME to join as a volunteer OR please stop by and say hello. Bring that neighbor, cousin or family member you have had on your heart. We would love nothing more than to pray for you and for your family at the beloved tradition of CEF at the fair :)
Well, it's hard to believe, but the Fair is less than a month away! It starts on July 18th and runs until August 17th. We are very busy getting everything ready and I wanted to update you on a couple of things:
Volunteers Needed!! We need Volunteers for 3-hour shifts, with four shifts available each day: (each with an arrival time of 1/2 hour prior to start time). 11:00-2:00 p.m.; 2:00 to 5:00 p.m.; 5:00 to 8:00 pm; and 8:00 to 11:00 p.m. Please sign up for any time that works for you, and please consider signing up for multiple shifts if your schedule allows. There are over 350 spots to fill. :) Please use this link to Sign-up: htps://signup.com/go/XRKAnxS NOTE: ALL Fair workers MUST be Background Checked through CEF (not live scanned). This is a simple process and only takes about 10-15 minutes to complete online. Once completed, we typically have an answer in one day or less. Anyone 18 or older must be background checked. Anyone under 18 does not.
Zoom Fair Training. We are having Zoom training for anyone who has not served at the Fair previously, or if you would like a Refresher. These are the Training dates are:
Tuesday, July 8th starts at 6:00 p.m. and should last about an hour and a half. This will be Fair Orientation and Training for those who plan to be Greeters and Craft Helpers. (For the craft, the kids will be making crowns with jewels again.) Saturday, July 12th starts at 9:00 a.m. and will last about an hour and a half as well. This is training for those who are planning to be Teachers. We will go through the Story as well as giving an invitation to receive Jesus. (Our Bible story is the same as the past couple of years, David and Goliath.) You are welcome to attend one or both. Help getting ready We need to get literally hundreds of goodie bags and jewel bags ready for the Fair. If you are available to help stuff baggies, we will be having several times that you can help.

Church Contact If you would like one of us to come to your church and set up a table to let folks know about how they can serve at the OC Fair, please let us know. We are happy to reach out to your church by stopping by and sending an introduction email
